Projects vary greatly in size and scope. The following fees apply to academic research projects.

TMA Design Consultation		$50.00/hr
Core Punch Charge*		$3.25/core
Array Construction Set-up		$25.00/block
Array Sectioning (adhesive)		$15.00/slide
Array Sectioning (non-adhesive)		$7.50/slide
TMA H&E Slide & Stain		$11.50/slide
*Core sizes offered are 0.6, 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0mm in diameter. Add $1.50 per core for 2.0 mm cores. A punch coordinate template will be provided with completed TMA.

Pathology review during construction or post-construction QC may also be contracted. Projects may also include data collection and databasing services. Service fees for projects with industry are not shown. Please contact Dr. Seligson for further details regarding any of these issues (click here)

All investigators using human tissues must have IRB approval to obtain services from Tissue Array Core Facility. The type of IRB coverage depends on whether tissues are associated with patient identifiers and whether they are collected prospectively or retrospectively. Most projects are adequately covered using a UCLA HS7 IRB exemption, but projects involving clinical data collection generally require a full HS1 application. Due to the complex nature of these regulations it is important to consult with the Office for the Protection of Research Subjects (OPRS), website: http://www.oprs.ucla.edu to assure appropriate coverage.
