Dr. Song completed her pathology residency and Hematopathology fellowship training at UCLA. She also has a Ph.D. In Biochemistry, completing post-doctoral training in cellular immunology. She also worked as a research scientist/project leader at Becton Dickinson Biosciences/ Pharmingen.

Dr. Song has developed special expertise in clinical and research Flow Cytometry with unique hands-on experience and in-depth understanding of the technology. In addition to her role as attending Hematopathologist, Dr. Song serves as the Director of the Clinical Flow Cytometry Laboratory at the UCLA Medical Center.
