Why did our students choose the CMP Program?
We asked, and …
This is what they had to say!

Dayo Oluwadara
Class of 2005
Laboratory of Dr. Paul Mischel

"I was attracted into the CMP program after listening to the presentation of the CMP Graduate Advisor, Dr Rajasekaran during the ACCESS retreat held in fall 2004 at the Lake Arrowhead. I wanted a program that would both stimulate my career interest and experience extra commitment from the Faculty members."

“The CMP graduate student presentations during the special welcome party organized to welcome first year ACCESS students by the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine further strengthened my interest. It was an occasion to meet CMP faculty, including the Chair of the Department; to me this meant I could have my career fulfilled in a highly motivated environment.”

Josh Deignan
Class of 2002
Laboratory of Dr. Wayne Grody

“The CMP Program is a great way to get exposure to the intricacies of working in a research laboratory as well as the dynamic livelihood of working as a pathologist all within five years.”

Gloria Preza
Class of 2005
Laboratory of Dr. Tomas Ganz

“It is extremely important for a grad student to be able to work in an un-intimidating environment, and this program supplies just that.  The cohort one builds in this program will lead to great friendships and outstanding memories.”
