The Greater Los Angeles Cytotechnology Training Consortium (School of Cytotechnology) operates under the aegis of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine of the University of California, Los Angeles Medical Center. The School, which is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), offers a comprehensive course in cytology.  Upon program completion, the student is eligible to sit for the American Society of American Pathologists, Board of Registry examination in Cytotechnology.
